Getting started with the new GCSE (8300)

We want you to have all the support you need for teaching the new Maths GCSE this term. Use our free resources to plan for the year ahead.

Step 1: Watch our resources video

Take a look at our new resources video for the easy way to get started using Route Maps as an integrated gateway to all our resources, topic by topic.

Step 2: Use our route maps

Use the Route Map as your scheme of work, reordering any topics you want to move to create your personalised map of the whole curriculum. We have Route Maps covering 1, 2 and 3-year approaches.

Click into your starting topics and see what resources are there to help you. All topics are supported by mapping to the specification content and topic tests.

Newer or trickier topics have lesson plans, worksheets and homework sheets supporting them too. You can can save any resources you plan on using to your All About Maths profile so you can use them again easily.

Step 3: Use the teaching guidance

Look up the specification reference from the Route Map in our Teaching Guidance document - see what students will be expected to know about each topic and see ways in which it could be tested.

Step 4: Watch our webinar to see how we can help you plan, teach and assess

Watch our webinar and find out about:

  • our new specimen papers - understand the latest changes, and learn about the key features of our assessments
  • getting ready for September - why we’ve got the best resources package you can get from an exam board, what it can do for you, and how to get started quickly and easily.
